Welcome to the A Lean Dream Blog!
Today I am re-starting my weight loss journey for the LAST TIME. I am officially done with trying to lose weight, then just giving up and re-gaining again. I decided to start this blog because if I don’t write this down, it won’t be real to me. Writing it down is a commitment. It’s a commitment that I should have made long ago. I recently turned 30 years old. I spent all of my 20’s being uncomfortable in my own skin. I feel uncomfortable in all of my clothes. I’ve always been curvy with a big butt, which I love, however now I’ve reached the point where my gut is as big as my butt! I’m not starting on this journey just for looks, though. I want to be healthy. I want to have muscles. I want to feel strong.
I’m calling my weight loss journey A Lean Dream. To me being lean means being toned, strong and healthy. Turning 30 was a huge eye opener for me. I now see just how poorly I take care of myself. I don’t want to end up with health issues that could have been prevented.
I hope you enjoy reading my posts. I’ll simply be logging what I’ve been doing each day to make my Lean Dream come true.
I’ll be weighing in every Monday! I like doing Mondays instead of Fridays because it will hold me accountable for the weekend. Those are the hardest days for me. All I want to do is eat all day!
