Weigh In Day – 9/15/2017

Hey Lean Dreamers,

I decided not to do a weigh in this week. Why? Because I don’t need that kind of negativity in my life. LOL

Seriously though, this week I learned that I do not do well with change. My normal scheduleĀ  consists of working two jobs so if my sleep schedule is disrupted I become a mess. That’s why meal prep is so crucial for me. I already don’t like cooking, so if I don’t have something readily available to eat, I revert to eating out. It’s a lose lose situation.

My downfall started last Sunday. For whatever reason I decided to take a nap in the middle of the day. That messed up my sleep schedule that night which made me super tired Monday. I forced myself to do a light walk on the treadmill at lunch. On Tuesday I was still tired. Tuesday night I had a birthday dinner and got home super late. So I was tired again on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday didn’t fare much better. I only managed that one workout on Monday.

The one positive thing that happened this week is I made it another week with no fast food. Even though I did eat out, I tried to be healthy and sensible.

So, I didn’t want to get on the scale yesterday because I was already feeling down for not working out most of the week. If I would have seen the scale go up that would have just made me feel even worse.

This coming week WILL be better. I’m claiming it now.

1 Quotes - A Lean Dream

The goal this week is to start doing morning workouts. I used to workout in the morning years ago and I loved it. Somewhere along the way I stopped and it has seemed impossible to get back into it. That will change this week. I want to be that person who works out every morning!

This week I’m going to do the Jillian Michaels Beginner Shred DVD. I tried it for the first time a few weeks ago and loved it!

How is your weight loss journey going? Let me know in the comments. I love hearing about other journeys. Let’s motivate each other!
