Hey Lean Dreamers,
I decided not to do a weigh in again this week. And I won’t be doing one for a while. Lately, I’ve been dealing with being depressed about my weight. Getting on the scale all the time just seems to exacerbate the issue. I was hoping reporting my weight here weekly would help me to stick to my diet and exercise, but lately it has just caused more stress. And when I stress, I eat. I am definitely an emotional eater. I think I need to not step on the scale for a few weeks (maybe longer) while I get my head together. I’ve lost my way a little bit when it comes to eating healthy. I still have not been eating fast food, however, I need to learn to control how much I eat.
I’ll still be checking in here weekly or more often as time allows. I will be focusing on the non-scale victories for a while. For example, how many inches I’ve lost and how my clothes fit. I’ll be taking it one day at a time.
Along with eating better I need to exercise more! This week I’m going to do the Jillian Michaels Beginner Shred DVD. Jillian is my favorite fitness guru and I’ve had success with her DVDs in the past, so I’m hoping I will have success again.
